I bought these after I witness similar items at a friends house. These are mostly metal and are sturdier than some of the other one's I've looked at. They install easily and I haven't had to drill a pilot hole yet (no splitting). They work great on all my small and large doors, with minor adjustments. I've installed these in every cabinet in the house, bathrooms included.

I have been looking for an affordable way to stop the slamming cabinet doors, so I bought a few to "test" and was pleasantly surprised. I purchased the remainder the day after installing my test batch. They only have one screw to attach to the cabinet and after a simple snap down, you are in business. They don't move at all once screwed in. It's so easy to setup. They also have an adjustment knob on the rear to be flexible with different cabinet styles. You won't be disappointed!

I bought 40+ of these for all of my kitchen cabinets and some of the bathroom cabinets. Our drawers were already equipped with the soft-close mechanism so we were eager to match that serenity with soft closing cabinet doors. I initially snooped around Home Depot for this type of device but was unable to find them despite enlisting Home Depot employees in my search. During this fruitless effort, I decided to do a quick search on my iphone and this product came up. After reading several positive reviews, I decided to just order a ton of them (to save in shipping costs), hoping for the best.

Well, this simple device really works well! I installed them in the top corner of each cabinet door using just a plain old screwdriver (it took perhaps 2 minutes each). One quick snap after that and voila -- no more slamming cabinet doors! There is a plastic knob on the back to adjust the mechanism to work properly for heavier/larger cabinet doors. It's been about 2-3 months and all are still functioning perfectly so far.

These things are great. I bought 30 and my husband installed them all in short order. Turns out I miscounted, so I bought 20 more. I am now in the learning curve of trying to remember I don't have to 'baby' the cabinet doors closed any more, can just give them a nudge. They make me laugh every time I remember. I'm easily entertained - also like to watch the laundry go around in the front loading washer, and occasionally drop the toilet seat just to watch it not slam. That's a soft close item too. It's the little things in life, ya know?

I ordered 6 of these for my laundry room cabinets while I waited for my new kitchen cabinets to be delivered. I installed them in about 6 minutes, and they work fantastically! Everytime I'm in the laundry room, I have to open a cabinet door just to "not" hear them close. My kitchen cabinets were then delivered without the soft close door option I had originally ordered with them, so I canceled that order ($6 each) and ordered these again for my kitchen. I even ordered some to give to my mother for her kitchen. I'll be bringing my drill to her house for Christmas to install them. Don't hesitate to get these!
